Adele’s family

A little yellow house in the pedestrian area of Montorgueil, a cosy dining room, you’ve reached Adele’s family, bagel café and american grocery.

Enjoy fresh toasted bagels, home-made cheesecake (and other cakes) and milk-shakes.
This address is not a specifically children dedicated place, however it is certain they will enjoy their meal there.

Adele’s family is also an american grocery where you’ ll be able to find Cherrios, various peanut butter and much more.

Right now no high chair nor changing mat…but this may change

Une mère une fille à Paris

A great address we found out recently in the 15th arrondissement: it is together a tea-room, a second-hand shop and workshops place offering plenty of activities: baby carrying, baby-gym, baby-music, knitting, cooking,…there are workshops for everyone, for children from 2 and for adults.

Some workshops are suitable for parents and children with limited French.

Of course the place is 100% child-friendly with play-room, child-toilet, changing mat…

Enter Une mère une fille à Paris you’ll be welcome like at home.

Merry-go-rounds in Paris

merry-go-rounds in ParisLike each year, Paris is offering many activities to entertain young and older visitors (and Parisians as well ! ).

The youngest ones can enjoy the many merry-go-rounds of which 20 are free December 17th, 2011 – January 1st, 2012.

You can see where they are located on this map (thanks to Hotel Paris Rive Gauche blog who set up this map).

So leave your stroller on the side and just admire your child having fun turning around !

Le Watt

Even if this address is not a proper baby-friendly one, we liked: its sympathic atmosphere, its welcoming team, a spacious room (where your stroller will easily find its place) and an original menu (on demand salads and small desserts assortment).
(made in USA or in EU or nordic or kid) brunch on Sunday.

A great address to have a break while visiting Sorbonne area with the whole family.

An American touch in Paris!

In the center of Paris, in the first district, hides the typical american restaurant Joe Allen. You will enjoy it a modern and delicious American kitchen. We had a real very favorite for the desserts!

English is the first language at Joe Allen, even the menu is in english!

The atmosphere is there friendly, and the children are welcomed with a smile! There is no child menu  or nursery, but high chairs  and booster seats are provided to parents.
