Few steps away from Chateau de Vincennes and less than 10 minutes walk from Parc Floral, enter the children’s concept-store Trompette. You’ll find there a nice selection of toys and games for babies and children, creative activities sets, decoration products and few vintage kids furniture. But Trompette distinctive feature is the workshops they organize for children (some of them available in English – ask the store for details): always original with purpose to develop children’s curiosity, they are all designed for Trompette specifically. Here children can attend activities on a yearly basis or for a short themed cycles or “à la carte” (even just for one set), so that each one can experiment on his own rythm. Few examples of workshops:
- Take your felt tip pens: it is all about drawing caracters and animals while learning graphism basis (circles, dots, lines…) on different supports (paper, fabric, carton…) and formats (very small, standards, very large). Here children experiment, have fun and learn ! For children from 20 months till 3 year old (with an adult) or 4 – 7 year old.
- Knitting Dolly: make your own original creations: decoration objects, words or names. Each creation is done with cord and laminated wire. Choose what you’d like to create, select your color and leave the workshops with your own product. Mum + baby workshop / Adults only workshops / Children workshops from 8 year old.
- Play with Lego: technological workshops based on engineering, design, architecture and construction using a set of 100 000 LEGO pieces, a hundred of different projects can be created. For children aged 4 – 12.
