Before or after a walk in Ile Saint Germain garden – a nice green area with its large grass fields, its pretty Tour aux Figures (a Jean Dubuffet sculpture), its playgrounds – have a rest at the Garden Café.

With its floral decoration (green mood and columns “transformed” into trees), Garden Café welcomes the entire family for a lunch or a snack.

Under the mezzanine, a play corner is installed with books, lunch set, toys and coloring pages will delights your children!

The short menu contains fresh, home made dishes, based on seasonal products ; it offers a kid menu (ham or 1/2 young rooster, french fries or mashed potatoes; drink, dessert).

[100% kid-friendly café] Mama’lou – Paris 15th (closed)

Bad news at this address. This kid-friendly place is now closed. 🙁

Mama’lou is a new 100% family-friendly 15^th arrondissement place. It is settled to be a rest place for parents with kids, for them to chat, enjoy a piece of cakes and coffee or work while kids are playing in the play area, practicing in a workshop or during a birthday party.

For kids: a nice play wooden hut full of toys; and of course all the baby and kids facilities such as high chairs, changing facilities, kid toilet.

For adults: coffee, tea, cakes, snacks … and relaxing time!

Mama’lou organizes workshops for kids and adults in French and English.

[delicatessen and café] Bleu Olive, Paris 7th

A nice finding with Bleu Olive, delicatessen and café in the heart of 7th arrondissement. Welcoming staff, cosy atmosphere and a pretty menu.

For lunch a short (but attractive) menu shows salads, tarts, cold cuts, sandwiches in which each of you will find its preferred one.

Kids are welcome: high chair, changing facilities and a play corner are ready for them.

Parents and kids will enjoy a stop in the friendly place when strolling the city.

By the way, Bleu Olive is also a delicatessen: check and find the good and tasty products (cakes, tea, snacks, salted or sweet products) to bring back home for you next breakfast or snack!

750g la table is at first a recipes website. And to share these recipes in “real life”, its founder created 3 restaurants in Paris and nearby.

In the 3rd arrondissement, you’ll find one of them, just 2 steps away from the kid-friendly Arts et Metiers museum: in the large room, colorfull furniture, black board with menu and a friendly staff. In the plate, family-style dishes all made with fresh and seasonal products.

For families, restaurant is equipped with baby chairs and a play corner – equipped with a little kitchen – your child will be directly inspired by the chef nearby.

Few steps from Jardin du Luxembourg, you’ll discover one – actually 2 ! – stores dedicated to children : Le ciel est à tout le monde.

In one, baby and children clothes, sleeping bag, cuddly toys, in the other nice toys, lunch sets, scooters and much more.

Many brands are present of which Petit Jour with its Petit Prince, Barbapapa, Maisy Mouse and many of our kids heroes (!) melanine sets, Djeco and its creative and wooden toys, Aden + Anaïs giant swaddle blankets.

For sure, you’ll find there enough to please kids, parents or purchase a nice gift.

You are looking for a completely unique restaurant which makes you travel in time? We propose to go to Le Pavillon des Canaux in the 19th near the Villette’s dock.

This is not a restaurant like the others because it’s an house with all its rooms: the kitchen, the bedroom, the living room, the bathroom … where you can have a drink or eat there!
The principle : you choose a piece that you like and you go to the bar to order what you want!

For families, the terrace is spacious and the children in their high chair eating their cakes with relish. Otherwise go to the first floor which is the most “kid-friendly”, you’ll even find a changing table.

Le Pain Quotidien is a chain of cafes installed in bakery. You’ll be served there fresh organic bred, croissants, pains au chocolat, pastries but also salads and light dishes. You may seat at the large table present in all restaurants of the chain or at smaller table.

High chairs and changing table are available to suit baby needs.

Square René Le Gall, a large public garden for the whole family in Paris 13

public garden with playground paris 13 The René Le Gall garden is an “off tourist road”, located near Place d’Italie and the entrance is on the street Corvisart. You’ll find there an access ramp for strollers and will arrive on the large playground, where there are also swings.

In the other areas, you may stroll through the aisles surrounded by trees and discover its roses garden.
For having a picnic with your family, tables are available or you may chose to lay in the grass. In short, there’s something for all ages!

[children clothing store] ie – Paris Le Marais (3rd) / Montmartre (18th) (closed)

Bad news at this address. This kid-friendly place is now closed. 🙁

In Le Marais, I found out this pretty colorful store of baby and children clothing with colored shirts, baby sleeping bags, trousers and much more. “ie” designs its own fabric and have it printed and assembled the traditional way in its workshop.

The store also sells vintage toys such as metal trains and cars, puzzles, books for children. ie collections are also sold in its second store in Paris on Butte Montmartre.
